Come and join our 24th Anniversary of the areas most beloved celebration of the holiday season, Christmas by the Sea. The event will take place December 4-6 in Camden, Rockport and Lincolnville. In the spirit of the season, community businesses and organizations sponsor free festivities all weekend long that warm the spirit even if the air turns cold. 22nd Annual Toboggan Championships
February 10-12, 2012
Still going strong in 2012, the 22nd annual Toboggan Nationals will boast a field of 400 teams and nearly 1,300 racers, with an expected spectator base of more than 5,000 over two days of heated competition. Without fail, the limited number of team slots annually sells out and the crowds of spectators makes the Ragged Mountain Recreation Area the most popular place to be each February. The Camden Conference in February 2012 turns the spotlight on the United States and the crucial elements that coalesce to shape its foreign (and domestic) policy. The North Atlantic Blues Festival, one of the more prestigious festivals on the East Coast will run for two days, July 14 and 15, 2012. Camden Windjammer Festival

The Camden Windjammer Festival is a community-led celebration of Camden's maritime heritage and living traditions. Every year on Labor Day weekend thousands of visitors from as far away as Alaska and as near as Bay View Street in Camden gather along the wharfs and parks to explore the ships themselves, learn salty crafts and skills, and swap sea stories and songs in talent shows and concerts that appeal to landlubbers and swabbies alike.
